Casey Anthony Bella Vita tattoo artist testifies; Caylee skeleton found with wrong sized short pants!

Casey Anthony

6-14-11

Casey Anthony Trial Tattoo artist who gave Casey her Bella Vita tattoo testified. Raised heart shaped sticker stuck to a piece of cardboard at crime scene doesn’t match stickers found in Anthony home!

(The rare Henkel duct tape found on Caylee’s skull was later found at Anthony home & used to hang missing child posters for Caylee) Cindy Anthony testified that they used black duct tape at the home and said they went out & bought duct tape to hang posters! (Caylee’s skeleton was found inside 3 garbage bags stuffed into a canvas bag) Cindy testified the last time she saw that canvas bag was 8-9 months prior to summer of 2008! DA confronts her with contradictory testimony.

Cindy said when Caylee died she was wearing a size 3-T. Yet Caylee’s skeleton was found with shorts that read 24 months in size! Whoever put her in the woods was not familiar with what size she wore! When Cindy stepped down from stand, she mouthed, “I love you” to Casey, who gave her no response!

CATHERINE THEISEN
FBI dna expert testified she tested hair from Casey’s car & hair mass from skeleton using mitochondrial dna Results: Caylee Anthony can’t be excluded.

ALINA BURROUGHS
CSI agent with a bada$$ attitude towards Jose Baez. She testified she collected heart shaped stickers from Casey Anthony’s room. They were in a yellow box. One was on an envelope. Jose Baez pointed out that the box contained older items like baby shower items, scrap book items. The envelope with the heart shaped sticker had a 37 cent stamp on it – meaning it was from a long time ago. At crime scene there was a RAISED heart shaped sticker on a piece of cardboard found 9 feet away from Caylee’s skeleton. It was a raised sticker and didn’t resemble the stickers from Anthony’s home. Jose Baez brought up that there was an elementary school across from the woods but Alina Burroughs refused to say how far the school was. When Baez asked her if she saw the raised heart shaped sticker in the Anthony home (where there were only flat stickers) – the court wouldn’t let her answer. THE HEART SHAPED STICKER FOUND AT THE CRIME SCENE WAS A RAISED STICKER. THE STICKERS FOUND AT THE ANTHONY HOME WERE FLAT. – THEY’RE NOT THE SAME.

CINDY ANTHONY
Cindy said prior to Caylee becoming missing, her teddy bear named, “Teddy” and her Winnie the Pooh blanket had been missing since May.

DA Linda Drane-Burdick questioned Cindy Anthony about the hair length of herself, Casey, Lee and Cindy’s mom. Also whether any of their hair was processed (colored, treated etc). The DA asked because the hair found at the crime scene was a 9 inch long hair that was unprocessed. Mitochondrial DNA revealed it could’ve come from Casey, Caylee, Cindy, Lee or Cindy’s mom – hence the questions about hair length & processing.

After Caylee reported missing, Anthony’s set up a command center in supermarket parking lot. DA asked Cindy Anthony if the duct tape used to put up missing posters of Caylee at the command center came from the Anthony home. (that duct tape was the same rare Henkel brand that was found on Caylee’s skeleton) CINDY SAID SHE DIDN’T RECALL WHETHER THE DUCT TAPE USED TO PUT UP POSTERS AT THE COMMAND CENTER CAME FROM HER HOME. She said at one point they went out & bought duct tape. She said she used black duct tape to fix signs outside of the Anthony home that protesters were knocking down.

The DA asked Cindy about a canvas bag in her home. CINDY IDENTIFIED THE CANVAS BAG & SAID SHE LAST SAW IT IN THE GARAGE 8-9 MONTHS PRIOR TO SUMMER OF 2008. Linda Drane Burdick confronted her saying she previously said the last time she saw that canvas bag was in Caylee’s bedroom. Cindy said her memory has gotten better.

Cindy claimed she’d never before seen Caylee’s top that read, “Big Trouble Comes in Small Packages”. 1st time she saw the picture of Caylee wearing it was at a deposition in July 2009.

As Cindy left the witness stand and was walking past the defense desk, SHE MOUTHED, “I LOVE YOU” TO CASEY, then immediately put her head down. She got no response.

Jose Baez questioned Cindy about the second search warrant at the home on 12-20-11. There was a confrontation and George Anthony had to be taken to the back of the home.

Baez questions her about her telling cops there was a missing Winnie the Pooh blanket.

Cindy testified that when Casey was out of jail, she did not remove duct tape from the house. That they only had 1 roll of black duct tape and both she & George were using it to repair signs protesters had knocked down.

Jose Baez points out that the Anthony’s have owned Casey’s Pontiac Sunfire since the year 2000. He says their hair lengths have changed numerous times. (the hair at the crime scene was 9 inches long)

Jose Baez showed Cindy a photo of Casey on the floor holding up Caylee on her legs. It was from 2007, Caylee is 18 months old. Caylee’s shorts in the photo are a size 24 months. Cindy testifies that when Caylee died, she was currently in size 3-T. BAEZ POINTS OUT THAT THE SHORTS CAYLEE WAS FOUND IN WERE SIZE 24 MONTHS. SHE FOUND IN SHORTS TO SMALL FOR HER – MEANING WHO EVER PUT HER THERE WAS NOT FAMILIAR WITH WHAT SIZE CAYLEE WORE!

Judge Belvin Perry, (who at this point has made himself the 4th prosecutor) read a stipulation concerning George and Cindy Anthony’s work records. (DA trying to show from work records that George & Cindy weren’t home on June 17th when Casey backed the car into the garage, not home during computer searches)

JENNIFER WELCH
CSI investigator. She’s testified before. She collected Caylee’s bones from the crime scene. Jennifer Welch testified that on 8-13-09 she went to the jail and took pictures of a tattoo on Casey Anthony’s back that read “Bella Vita” (Italian for, “the Beautiful Life”)

BOBBY WILLIAMS
Young black male. Works as a tattoo artist for Cast Iron Tattoos. He’s known Casey for 7 years. Bobby Williams gave Casey her Bella Vita tattoo on July 2nd. He said she made the appointment 3-4 days prior. It took 30 minutes to draw, she was on the phone during it and it cost $65. Afterwards, Casey bought him and his co-workers pizza! When questioned by the DA as to what Casey’s mood was, he said she was happy. Casey made another appointment to come in for another tattoo on July 19th. Said she’d be bringing someone from out of town and Caylee would be coming in with her. On cross exam, defense lawyer, Jose Baez asked him if, in his business it was customary in the tattoo business for people to get tattoos to remember loved ones. Baez asked Bobby Williams if he did the tattoos that George & Cindy had to commemorate Caylee. He said no. The DA objected. On redirect, DA Frank George asked Bobby Williams if when Casey Anthony came in to get her tattoo if she was, “mournful” The defense objected.

This tattoo artist was the prosecution’s last witness. He was suppose to be a powerful witness for them because it shows that in the days after Caylee died, Casey was out getting a tattoo that read, “The Beautiful Life”. No more kid to take care of. She was now free to party and live the beautiful life. Instead, lawyer, Jose Baez, twisted the meaning around, implying that the tattoo was a memorial tattoo for Caylee – the beautiful life. It plants reasonable doubt as to the meaning of the tattoo.

The defense filed a motion for a mistrial based upon the heart shaped sticker and the DA asking the tattoo artist about if Casey seemed “mournful”. The defense claimed that the raised heart shaped sticker stuck to a piece of card board at the crime scene did not match the FBI’s description of the sticker – that it was dime sized etc. Also the issue of remorse is not legally allowed to be brought in as evidence in Florida. When Frank George asked Bobby Williams if Casey seemed “mournful” he violated that rule. Judge Belvin Perry denied the motion for mistrial.
