Tot Mom, Casey Anthony owes the IRS a grand total of $68,520 in unpaid taxes for the 2008 period. There’s no evidence that Casey Anthony ever worked in 2008.
The lien is filed at 522 Simpson Road in Kissimmee, the address of Anthony’s defense attorney, Jose Baez.
The assessment was made Nov. 1, 2010.
The notice of federal tax lien indicates that Anthony owes $68,520.41 in unpaid taxes.
That year attorney Jose Baez struck a deal with ABC to sell Anthony family home videos and photos for $200,000. It’s unclear who ABC paid, but the money was reportedly used to pay defense costs.
If ABC paid Casey Anthony directly, she could owe taxes on that payment.
If Casey didn’t have enough problems before, she’s got a doozy of a problem now! You don’t mess with the IRS. They’ve brought down mobsters!
