Caylee drowned in pool

Opening statements were today in the Casey Anthony Trial. The prosecution gave a blow by blow account of the 31 days Caylee was missing & what Tot Mom Casey Anthony did. The defense said Caylee Anthony drowned in the backyard pool, George Anthony helped cover it up. They also claim George & Lee molested Casey! They claim Roy Kronk hid Caylee’s skeleton for the reward money!
When the day started, grandpa George Anthony was seated in the back row holding a Bible. Grandma, Cindy Anthony clutched to a teddy bear.
I’m wondering if the ashes of Caylee Anthony were in that teddy bear? At Caylee’s memorial there was also a teddy bear on the stage.
Prosecutor Linda Drane-Burdick told of Caylee’s last days visiting her great grandfather at a nursing home then swimming with Cindy Anthony in the backyard pool on June 15th 2008. She said on June 16th 2008 George Anthony saw Casey & Caylee leaving house for last time. She said they’d be staying with the nanny, nicknamed, Zanny. Later that night, Casey was spotted at a Blockbuster video store with boyfriend, Tony Lazzaro and no Caylee Anthony. On June 18th 2008, she backs her car up into the garage and asked to borrow a shovel from the neighbor.
Linda Drane-Burdick then gave a day by day accounting of what Casey Anthony was doing during the 31 days that Caylee Anthony was missing. She was in a “Hot Body” contest with her boyfriend, got a tattoo that said, “the good life”, went clubbing, went to movies, went out shopping with stolen checks, stole her father’s gas cans, and played house with boyfriend Tony Lazzaro.
The DA said after her mom Cindy Anthony called 911, Casey took detectives to the nanny’s apartment. Cops would later find out no one lived there for 5 months! Casey took them to Universal Studios where she claimed she worked then confessed she was fired 2 years ago.
Linda Drane-Burdick then told the jury about a police cadaver dog named Garris who alerted to decomposition in the backyard near Caylee Anthony’s playhouse. She said a hair with a deathband around the follicle (that denotes decomposition) was found in Casey’s trunk, that the trunk had the odor of decomposition. She also said that Casey was doing Google searches for chloroform and neck breaking.
Defense lawyer, Jose Baez said the reason Casey Anthony never reported Caylee Anthony missing for 31 days is that Caylee Anthony was never missing! She drowned in the Anthony family pool on June 16th 2008. Baez said Casey and George were looking for Caylee, they went outside and Casey then saw George holding Caylee’s body. He would then help her cover up the crime.
Jose Baez said that when Casey Anthony was 8 years old, her father George Anthony would come into her room and molest her. Her older brother Lee Anthony would later follow in his father’s footsteps & do the same, said Baez. He said when George and Lee molested Casey, that’s how she learned to lie when something bad happens. That her father could put his peni.s in her mouth as a child and she’d have to go to school and play with all of the other kids as if nothing happened.
Baez claimed that George Anthony said to Casey after finding Caylee allegedly dead in the pool, “Look what you’ve done! You’re mother will never forgive you! And you will go to jail for child neglect for the rest of your freaking life!”
Casey’s attorney said that George covered up Caylee’s accidental death.Baez also stated, “On June 16, 2008, after Caylee died, Casey did what she’s been doing all her life, or most of it, hiding her pain. She went back to that deep, dark place called denial to pretend as if nothing was wrong.”
Baez said the family hid Casey’s pregnancy.
That the meter reader who found Caylee’s skeleton, Roy Kronk, hid the body for months for the reward money. In August he claimed he saw a skull. But then 5 months later in December 2008, the skull found it’s way into the bag.
George Anthony called cops to report stolen gas cans (that he secretly knew Casey stole). Cops took pics of the gas cans with duct tape on them. That same duct tape was found over Caylee’s mouth.
Baez claimed George Anthony had an affair with a woman named Krystal Holloway whom he confessed to that Caylee’s death was an accident.
On 6-20-08, Casey went to her family’s shed to get gas cans. Her boyfriend, Tony Lazzaro was with her. She threw the gas cans in her car trunk. Baez is claiming that if the trunk truly smelled of decomposition, Tony Lazzaro would’ve smelled it when Casey opened up the trunk He didn’t. Baez said the cadaver dog came back the next day to the family’s backyard and never alerted. It also never alerted when it was taken to the woods where Caylee’s skeleton was while cops were picking up her bones. Jose Baez also pointed out that the decomposition tests used by Dr. Arpad Vass have never been allowed in a court of law anywhere in this country.
George Anthony was the prosecution’s first witness. He denied being there when Caylee Anthony died and denied molesting Casey Anthony.

The article is basically calling for people to first listen to all of the evidence before they make up their minds.
But my sadness lies not so much with Casey and the horrific crime she allegedly committed or the allegations of sexual abuse and incest. My sadness lies with those who have already decided Casey is guilty and should go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200.
Hee Haw! Get out the tar and feathers, grab the rope and find the nearest tree, start collecting stones, set up the stake and start the fire. Let’s all meet at the jail house at high noon and drag her scrawny ass outta thar. She’s guilty and we knows it. We knows it! The newspapers done told us so! The TV reporters — they told us so! And those TV reporters don’t lie. That Nancy Grace, she told us too! And she’s a real smart one, that Nancy Grace. Yup, Cassy, Cathy, Carrie, whatever her name is. She did it. Let’s git her.

Despite the above quote referencing Nancy Grace – For the record, I happen to like and respect Nancy Grace. I may not always agree with her but I do like and respect her.
