Casey Anthony should only pay $200 in costs not half a million says Lisabeth Fryer!

Tot Mom, Casey Anthony’s lawyer, Lisabeth Fryer, filed a brief stating that Casey should only be made to pay back $200 in investigative costs and not over $517,000 as requested by the State!

THE COSTS FOR LYING
In Florida, the State can make defendants pay back the costs of investigating the crimes they were convicted of. Casey was convicted of 4 counts of lying to cops. Legally, she has to pay back the costs of investigating her lies.

PAY FOR WHAT YOU WERE ACQUITTED OF???
Here’s where things get complicated. DA Linda Drane-Burdick is asking that Tot Mom pay back over a half a million dollars for the cost of not only lying but costs for the homicide investigation! Casey DOES NOT have to pay back the costs of the homicide investigation because she was acquitted of murder. The DA’s rationale is this: that if Casey hadn’t lied about Caylee drowning, then there would’ve been no homicide investigation.

$200 vs $517,000
So the DA is asking for Casey Anthony to cough up $517,000. Her attorneys say she only has to pay $200.

In a brief filed by Anthony’s defense, attorney Liz Fryer says that the statutory limit is $50 per conviction……They said Judge Perry would essentially be ignoring the law if he ordered Casey to pay more than $50 per count. She was convicted on four counts.

It’s pretty obvious that the State of Florida is trying to stick it to Casey Anthony as revenge for the stunning not guilty verdict. This is clearly a case of Sour Grapes.

Talk show host, Dr. Phil McGraw appeared on NBC’s Today Show to discuss his blockbuster interview with Tot Mom, Casey Anthony’s parents!

The interview was suppose to air 9-12-11 but was delayed by one day due to scheduling conflicts with the U.S. Open for Tennis.

Dr. Phil, interviewed by Matt Lauer, discussed his interview with George & Cindy Anthony. He said:

- To date, no one has been held accountable for Caylee’s loss.

- That the parents felt anger towards the defense. George was accused of molesting his daughter, having an affair, hiding Caylee’s dead body.

- Dr. Phil also questioned how George & Cindy could let 31 days go by and not see or hear from Caylee Anthony.

Dr. Phil interview with Casey Anthony parents to be aired on Tuesday due to Tennis!

Dr. Phil’s blockbuster interview with Tot Mom, Casey Anthony’s parents has been rescheduled for Tuesday due to the Men’s U.S. Open featuring #2 in the world, Rafael Nadal!

The U.S. Open, which has been plagued by rain, will prompt many “Dr. Phil” pre-emptions on Monday on CBS affiliates. The Men’s Final is scheduled to be played that afternoon.
So the distributor will not make the Anthony episode available until Tuesday.

Tot Mom, Casey Anthony’s parents, Cindy & George Anthony will reportedly be claiming on their upcoming Dr. Phil interview that Casey had a grand mal seizure while Caylee was drowning – preventing her from saving the tot!

During the taped appearance, Cindy Anthony apparently told the show’s host, psychologist Dr. Phil McGraw, that her daughter’s former fiance Jesse Grund had told police during a 2008 interview that he had called 911 after Casey suffered such a seizure in 2005.

According to the previously reliable source who spoke to Fox, Casey later suffered at least two additional seizures — one while home on bond in 2008 and another while incarcerated between 2008 and 2011.

Cindy Anthony will also reportedly claim during the Dr. Phil interview that Casey’s seizures may be symptomatic of a condition responsible for her lying:

This claim of Casey having seizures is not something new. I remember hearing about Casey having a seizure in jail years ago. At the time I never connected Casey’s seizures to Caylee’s death.

In the latest of the slew of upcoming Casey Anthony books – Sharpie Lady, Robin Wilke is writing a book! Her upcoming book will join the ranks of other books written by Jeff Ashton, Jesse Grund, Dominic Casey and even possibly by Tot Mom & her parents!

So who’s “Sharpie Lady” you ask. Here’s a refresher:

During the Tot Mom, Casey Anthony murder trial, dozens of Casey crazed people would stand in line in the wee hours of the morning to get a ticket to get into the courtroom for Casey’s trial. The crowd was made to a stand at a certain location away from the courthouse.

SLEEPING BAGS, CHAIRS, PUNCHES & SHARPIE LADY

People would set up sleeping bags and chairs outside of the courthouse. Fights broke out over line cutters – complete with punches being thrown – all captured on live tv. In an effort to combat line cutting, one busy body on the line named Robin Wilke started pulling out her Shapie marker and writing numbers on the hands of people in line. She was dubbed “Sharpie Lady”.

THE RUNNING OF THE BULLS

In the morning when the court house guards were ready to hand tickets out to get into the courtroom, next came the running of the bulls! The diehard crowd would have to run from their spot in line over to the courthouse for tickets. They were like a herd of cattle stampeding, almost hitting down people in wheelchairs, a man in a neckbrace, little children – all for a chance to see the infamous Tot Mom herself, Casey Anthony!

FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED

So what of Sharpie Lady and her system? Didn’t work. When people ran from the spot across from the courthouse over to the courthouse – whoever got there first, was the first to get a ticket. The number on people’s hands didn’t mean a thing. That means if you were at the back of the line and managed to stampede over the crowd to get to the courthouse doors – you were getting a ticket. If the people with numbers written on their hands were to late – no ticket!

Robin Wilke came to Florida all the way from Minnesota to attend the Casey Anthony trial. She arrived in June and spent almost a month in Orlando. She was interviewed by the media and even met famous reporters, lawyer Jose Baez and Casey’s parents!

Spending an estimated 200 hours in line, Wilkie met people from all over the U.S. and even Europe.

The trip cost her about $3,500 in expenses. Taking time off of work wasn’t a problem, since she owns her own business—a personal concierge service.

“My book will shed light on how this case unfolded the way it did,” she says. “It will give a behind-the-scenes look at the American justice system and jury selection process. The good, the bad, and the ugly.”

The book will include photos of Wilkie with members of the defense team, media commentators and people she met in line.

Jesse Grund, Casey Anthony ex fiancé, cashing in on Caylee with book!

Tot Mom, Casey Anthony’s ex fiancé, Jesse Grund will be cashing in on Caylee with a book, the NY Post is reporting!

“I witnessed the devastating effects of severe dysfunction,” Grund writes in the proposal, being shopped by D.J. Snell at Legacy Management and a copy of which has been obtained by Page Six.

“I know what events in her life have molded her into the vilified Casey Anthony,” he adds.

Here’s a quick refresher on Jesse Grund:

Jesse Grund met Casey when he worked at Universal Studios in loss prevention. He’s the son of a minister. Grund and Casey dated. She later told him he was Caylee’s father. A paternity test revealed otherwise. Grund still offered to take care of Caylee saying that he loved her. Jesse Grund has stated that Casey broke up with him because she thought he loved Caylee more than her. (so he says). Others suspected the real reason for the break up was pressure from Casey’s mom, Cindy Anthony, who never liked Jesse Grund & reportedly felt if Casey married him he’d be taking both Casey & Caylee out of the house & away from her.

After Caylee was reported missing, Jesse Grund claimed that both Caylee and Cindy tried to pin the disappearance on him.

After the not guilty verdict, Jesse Grund hit the talk show circuit along with his minister dad, whining like a little b*tch about Casey Anthony and what a “good guy” he is. Every talk show he’s done, he told the story of how he and Casey were sitting in the Anthony living room watching tv. He said that Cindy Anthony walked in and asked him why he would even want to be with Casey, that she’s a high school dropout and started ripping into her daughter. Grund next reports to all of the tv hosts that he valiantly got up & told Cindy Anthony never to talk to Casey that way in his presence. After he gets the audience to jump on the Jesse Grund bandwagon, thinking what a knight in shining armor he is – he’ll then proceed to verbally bash the living daylights out of his ex fiancé, Casey Anthony. His face will have a pained expression on it as he proclaims the person sitting in the jail is not the Casey Anthony he once knew, that she’s horrible etc. etc.

Jesse Grund has Zenaida Gonzalez syndrome. Something bad happened to them for a brief moment and now they think they’re entitled to cash in. The problem is, all this cashing in is being done at the expense of another human being who was found not guilty of any wrong doing and is having a hard enough time getting on with her life without all of these dingleberries from the past latching on.

I’m not going to lie to you though. I’ll probably end up reading his book.

Softball tournament to raise funds for Caylee Anthony memorial!

A fundraising softball tournament is in the works to raise money for the new Caylee Anthony memorial to be built on the site where her skeleton was found!

Anthony Abramson, a Valrico resident who works as an umpire for Plant City recreation leagues, is spearheading plans for the tournament at the Randy L. Larson Softball Four-Plex.
He is looking for men’s and women’s teams and co-ed teams to sign up to participate in the tournament. Teams can register for $200 each, with registration open through Sept. 12.

Casey Anthony DA wants $517,000 for costs; Lawyer screams sour grapes!

Tot Mom, Casey Anthony’s lawyers, Cheney Mason & Lisabeth Fryer were back in court today! The State of Florida wants Casey to pay $517,000 in investigative costs.

Even though Casey was acquitted of murder she was found guilty of lying to cops. That means she has to pay all costs related to the cops investigating her lies. Sounds simple enough but here’s where it gets complicated – DA Linda Drane-Burdick is asking Judge Belvin Perry to make Casey pay not only for the investigative costs of lying to cops but for the murder investigation too! That’s a charge she was acquitted of! They want her to pay for the costs of trial witnesses that have NOTHING TO DO WITH HER LYING TO COPS!

Witnesses like:

-Neal Haskell: the bug guy who analyzed the insects in the car,

- A hydrologist: who determined the area where Caylee was found was NOT under water, that’s why the State never called him

- The man who created the macabre superimposition of Caylee Anthony’s smiling face morphing into a skelton. That costed a whopping $12,000

- Dr. Weiss,

- Dr. Arpad Vass: the scientist who claimed Casey’s car had chloroform and invented a sniffing machine he claims can detect the odor of decomposition – a claim that’s been refuted by other scientists,

- John Bradley: who owns the Canadian software company used to analyze Casey’s computer

- John Schultz

- Oakridge lab depositions: they want Casey to pay for

- DA going to Washington DC for depositions,

- The prosecutions is even trying to make Casey pay for DA Jeff Ashton buying a book on Amazon for 31 dollars that had something to do with decomposition!

THESE ARE ALL PEOPLE & THINGS THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH CASEY LYING TO COPS – YET THE DA IS ASKING HER TO PAY THE COSTS OF RETAINING THEM!

Prosecutor, Linda Drane-Burdick’s reasoning behind this is that if Casey hadn’t lied, there would be no cost of prosecution & investigation – therefore every expense is related causally if not directly to “the machinery put in motion by Casey Anthony”.

Defense lawyer, Cheney Mason asked, “where is justice for the defense that won?”

But defense attorney Cheney Mason called the state’s efforts “sour grapes.”
“It’s time [State Attorney] Lawson Lamar’s office accepts the fact that it lost this case,” Mason said.
He argued for limiting any assessed costs to the work done on the four charges for which she was convicted. Those costs, Mason said, should be limited to Sept. 30, 2008, when the Sheriff’s Office stopped investigating a missing-child case.

Casey Anthony to be deposed from secret location and will take 5th in Zanny trial!

In the Zanny The Nanny civil suit against Casey Anthony, Judge Lisa Munyon has ruled that Anthony will be deposed from a secret location on October 8th. For those of you In Session & HLN tv junkies (which I’m a part of), you’re out of luck – the video will be sealed! The Zenaida Gonzalez civil trial has been set for April 2012.

Casey’s attorney, Charles Greene has stated that Casey will be pleading the 5th. That is, invoking her 5th Amendment Constitutional right to not answer any questions on the grounds that it could incriminate her.

Here’s a brief refresher on why Zenaida Gonzalez is suing Casey: when Casey got arrested she said that her nanny, “Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez” had kidnapped Caylee. She said the nanny lived at the Sawgrass Apartments. When cops investigated they found out that the apt. Casey identified had been vacant for months but a woman named “Zenaida Gonzalez” had filled out a guest card there. After cops questioned this woman, she & her children began receiving threats from an angry public who thought she kidnapped & killed Caylee Anthony! Zenaida Gonzalez has said she can’t find work due to her association with the case and is suing to clear her name.

Casey’s lawyers said the only question she’ll answer is what her name is and though the trial has been set for April, they hinted that there could be a delay because of her criminal appeal of convictions for lying to investigators.

“There will be a battle and I’ll just say there’s a lot going to happen before this case goes to trial if it ever goes to trial,” said Casey’s lawyer Charles Green.

There are a couple of major problems with this lawsuit:

1) WRONG NAME! Casey identified her babysitter as “Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez”. The woman suing is not named “Fernandez”. Her name is “Zenaida Gonzalez”. If the courts allow this lawsuit then every woman in the world named Zenaida Gonzalez could be allowed to sue.

2) WRONG PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION! The woman suing doesn’t match the physical description Casey gave to cops of Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez. Casey said the nanny looks like a perfect 10 and has no tattoos. The woman suing is not a stereotypical model looking type and has a tattoo – on her hand!

3) CHILDREN Casey said the nanny has no children – the woman suing has children!

4) Casey detailed the type of car the nanny has, that she’s originally from New York – none of which match the woman suing!

5) NAMED USED 2 YEARS PRIOR It’s Zenaida Gonzalez’s contention that Casey Anthony specifically gave her name to defame her. Not True. Casey had been saying to her parents for the previous 2 years, since Caylee was born – that she had a nanny named “Zanny”. The name was in use long before the criminal charges came about.

This lawsuit is completely without merit. Zenaida Gonzalez WAS a victim of the crazy lynch mob down in Florida. I felt for her but not anymore. SHE’S GONE FROM VICTIM TO VULTURE! Since 2008, her name has long been cleared. She’s no longer a victim.Unfortunately a bunch of media hungry lawyers from the lawfirm of Morgan & Morgan, looking for their shot of fame, are holding onto this ridiculous claim that Zenaida Gonzalez is being looked on with suspicion.
